Aaah, the good old days of the Pokémon anime: I'm always nostalgic when I see the original trio: Ash, Misty and Brock. It brings back so many good memories for a pokémon geek like me.

That's why I couldn't pass the opportunity to color *Zaphk's lineart. But not only because of the nostalgia, but also because the characters look adorable in his style. That plus this was a good excuse to practice painting backgrounds. I wanted to emulate the anime style backgrounds. I'm still a bit unsure about the mountains, but I like how the forest turned out. Still need more practice on that though.

So many thanks to *Zaphk for the gorgeous lineart. I had tons of fun coloring this.
