_{There's been a lot of controversy about the infamous share buttons in deviantART the past couple weeks. The site's administration is gathering opinions on the matter of disabling them when people submit deviations and also hiding deviations from the general public.

That means non-logged members and people who are not registered users wont be able to see your deviations if you choose to hide them.

While I'm against hiding my stuff from the public, I happened to read ^StJoan's journal today and I can totally understand her point of view as a writer and a fellow deviant.

Please take a few minutes to read Disabling and You - An open letter. I'm sure you'll find it at least interesting. Remember, deviantART is not only about images, we have a wonderful lit community among us and their opinions matter as much as any other deviant's.}

The Buddy Bench - A CSS Contest
